GSK Antigens

This section describes the antigens used in ASCI. They have been selected from a range of tumor antigens that are recognized by T lymphocytes.

GSK first focused on MAGE-A3, a genuine tumor-specific antigen that is expressed by several tumor types.

MAGE-A3 is the first antigen entering a Phase III study, the MAGRIT (MAGE-A3 as Adjuvant Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Immunotherapy) trial.
