Director, Commercial Strategy, Chronic disorders
Job Purpose
- This job is part of the Chronic disorders organization that would have a major impact on GSK Bio product pipeline and sales
- Sales of chronic disorders vaccines could generate sales of up to $ 3 billion (3 currents assets)
- Drive consistent marketing approaches globally for Chronic disorders portfolio and implement supportive commercial plans
- Be member of some Global Project Teams, interact with peers in Pharma to leverage synergies, interact with all Biologicals departments that will support the Chronic disorders Business Unit, relevant to specific responsibilities.
- Develop a worldwide network of key stakeholders (KOLs, advisory boards, …)
- Follow the competitive landscape of all opportunities
- Be involved in the development and endorsement of TPP’s for early stage portfolio.
- Develop compelling business cases to support all investment decisions in early portfolio.
- Overall management of long term sales forecasts.
- Commercial Stakeholder management within Biologicals and Pharma.
- Ensure synergy is achieved with relevant Pharma assets being developed in similar diseases and indications.
- Organize advisory boards or consultancy of key worldwide experts, as appropriate and develop KOL/Thought Leader relationships
Profile
Basic experience:
- BSc/BA or appropriate tertiary/university qualification.
- Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role within a pharmaceutical organization.
- At least 2 years Pharma marketing experience.
- At least one year of new product planning experience.
Preferred experience:
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in G7 (US, EURO5, Japan) Local Operating Company (local affiliate).
- Global pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- Medical/Pharmaceutical Sales experience.
