Immunology Cancer Senior Manager

Job Purpose

Characterization of cell-mediated immune responses induced by ASCI in cancer patients.

Responsibilities

• Identify key markers, develop new methods allowing to further characterize immunity in Cancer patients
• Apply these new methods to clinical samples, provide expertise analysis of results generated and discuss their implication in internally and with authorities.
• Provide scientific expertise and contribute to broad impact decisions and recommendations related to ASCI
• Establish and lead collaborations with academic groups in close interaction with Cancer DAP and franchise
• Contribute to defining immune parameters associated with clinical benefit
• Ensure state of the art technological development in line with R&D and GSK Bio Strategy as well as technological watch.

Profile

Has recognised expertise in specific area, internally as well as internationally :

• Specialised in depth knowledge in Immunology , Immuno-monitoring and Cancerology :
• Flow cytometry and cell sorting
• Tumor immunology, Tumor microenvironment
• Cell activation, interactions, regulation and migration
• T cell biology, markers, homeostasis, regulation, functionality; memory
• Good Knowledge of GCLP guidelines for clinical laboratory activity
• People management and social skills to foster teamwork and to coach collaborators.
