ASCI, a novel approach to cancer treatment

Antigen-Specific Cancer Immunotherapeutics or ASCI is a novel approach to cancer treatment. It is based on more than 20 years of high-level Research and Development in Cancer Immunology by GSK, in constant, close collaboration with health care professionals and academic institutions such as the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. ASCI aim to treat cancer by targeting antigens that are selectively expressed by cancer cells but not (or only at low levels) by normal cells.

ASCI are investigational compounds. They are not yet approved for use except as part of clinical trials.
